Without a well-defined Business Continuity Planning (BCP) framework, organizations may face prolonged downtime, financial losses, and reputational damage.

This course is designed to provide a comprehensive and practical approach to Business Continuity Planning aligned with ISO 22301 and industrial best practices. Participants will gain a clear understanding of how to identify risks, conduct Business Impact Analysis (BIA), and develop effective continuity strategies and plans. Through intensive workshops and scenario-based simulations, the program enables participants to apply concepts directly to their organizational context, ensuring readiness to respond, recover, and sustain operations under crisis situations. The focus is on building both technical capability and decision-making confidence to enhance organizational resilience and long-term competitiveness.

Objectives

    1.     To build a solid foundation in Business Continuity Planning (BCP), including its principles, frameworks, and alignment with ISO 22301 and industrial standards.

    2.     To enable participants to systematically identify, assess, and prioritize organizational risks across operational, supply chain, cyber, and geopolitical dimensions.

    3.     To develop the capability to conduct Business Impact Analysis (BIA), including defining critical business functions and determining Recovery Time Objective (RTO) and Recovery Point Objective (RPO).

    4.     To equip participants with practical skills in designing effective BCP strategies, including recovery solutions, resource allocation, and cost-risk trade-offs.

    5.     To guide participants in developing structured and actionable BCP plans, including response plans, recovery procedures, and crisis management roles.

    6.     To strengthen decision-making and response capabilities through scenario-based simulations, enabling participants to manage real-world disruptions effectively.

    7.     To promote continuous improvement of BCP through testing, evaluation, and alignment with ISO 22301 PDCA principles.
